Skilled Labourer

Penta Construction currently has opportunities for carpentry labourers of various skill levels, to join our team on a full-time basis. 

If you are self-motivated and looking for carpentry work in commercial buildings and residential homes, we want to hear from you. As a skilled carpentry labourer, some of your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

● Picking up and delivering materials

● Cleaning work sites

● Assisting in a variety of carpentry tasks that require form and execution;

● Be mechanically inclined and proficient with trade tools and materials necessary to the job (using hand tools, machines, or power saws);

● Inspecting, maintaining, and reporting hazardous work environment and cleaning up worksite debris;

● Hold a concern for safety & familiarity of construction site safety protocol; 

We are looking for candidates who:

● Are an inquisitive individual eager to learn the ins and outs of the trade.

● Previous experience in construction is an asset.

● Hold a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle

● Come with your own basic hand tools

● Be dependent and consistent – show up on time and ready to work

● First Aid and CPR are an additional asset

Job Type: Full-time Pay: CA$15.00-CA$30.00 per hour Additional pay:

Experience:

● Construction: 1 year (required)

Licence/Certification:

● Class 5 Licence (required)
